Act in an office management capacity to perform tasks necessary to keep a project running smoothly, such as records keeping, resource coordination, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with government and safety regulations. In a project that requires subcontractors, vendor assessment and contract negotiation may fall under the duties of a project administrator.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and support projects including identification, planning and design, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Support and play a key role in Privacy and Security team initiatives and special projects such as the HIPAA annual risk assessment and event response efforts
• Provide comprehensive high-level administrative support to the privacy and security team including coordinating and scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials and presentations, creating and updating project timelines/schedules, and composing meeting notes and action items
• Establish and oversee a schedule of touchpoints with Privacy and Security team to evaluate status of projects and prioritize future activities
• Develop, manage, and coordinate the implementation and use of technology tools for team collaboration and process workflow improvement; liaise and partner with technical staff.
• Create and maintain program level documentation related to Privacy and Security as assigned; manage information on web pages, project portals, and internal databases
Education and Qualification:
• A college degree in business, health, or a science-related field
• Hands-on experience leading projects within a professional environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity utilizing online tools and posting web content, and openness to learning new technology
• Superior communication skills including oral, listening and written, with the comfort level to compose summary reports
• Track record of successfully multi-tasking in a fast-paced and professional environment while consistently meeting deadlines with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and to complete a high volume of work with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Superb analytical skills and ability to think things through, anticipate solutions and next steps, and see the bigger picture
• Previous experience working in health technology and/or with legal professionals
